Three years after the fall of Shiganshina, The Military conducted an experiment involving 24 drop-outs from the 105th trainee squad and retired military officers, Darwin Barnes and Selene Noble. Their goal was to create a group similar to the Survey Corps' Special Operations Squad with less time and resources, which resulted in the creation of The Elites.
The Elites are not canon or mentioned in the manga or anime. I do not own nor claim to own Shingeki No Kyojin.
